About Me
My name is Gideon, and I’m an 8-year-old tuxedo boy who’s feeling very scared right now. There are so many unfamiliar sounds, smells and people here. When someone walks into my room, my instinct is to make myself as small as possible, or to find somewhere to hide.
Even so, there’s still a hopeful part of me that wants to trust. I still peek out to watch people, and I hope someone kind and patient will understand what I’m going through. The enrichment volunteers at Simply Cats are helping to build my trust, and to show me that gentle hands and soft voices can be safe.
I’m looking for a calm, loving home where I can decompress and feel secure. I think safety and patience could change a lot for a cat like me. I know my special person is out there, somewhere.
