Community Projects
Community projects are a great way to support Simply Cats if you’re not able to volunteer in person. From supply drives to small fundraisers, these projects help provide care and comfort for cats in our shelter.
Project Ideas
• Host a supply drive using our Wish List to collect items the cats need most.
• Create DIY items like cat toys, blankets, or cat trees.
• Fundraise with friends or family through a bake sale, garage sale, or themed event.
• Ask for donations to Simply Cats in lieu of birthday or event gifts.
• Partner with a local business to host a benefit night or donation drive.
• Organize a raffle or small fundraiser with donated prizes.
• Plan an at-home or virtual fundraiser and share it with your community.
• You must be 18 or older to adopt.
How Your Project Helps
Special projects support the everyday care of cats at Simply Cats — from food and medical care to enrichment and shelter supplies. They also raise awareness about homeless cats and bring your community together for a common cause.
