My friends and I were trapped by someone who wanted a better life for us. I’m being cautious right now, but once I trust you, I might lay at your feet, climb into your lap, or show you my belly. That’s what I did for my rescuer. It might take some time, but in the right home, I know I’ll continue to grow. The more secure I feel, the more of myself I’ll share.
