About Me

Ren – Gentle, Affectionate Maine Coon Seeking a Calm Home

Ren is a beautiful adult Maine Coon with a gentle, quiet personality. She is more on the sensitive side and takes a little time to warm up, but once she feels safe, she becomes incredibly affectionate and loves being close to her person — especially in the evenings. She is truly a companion cat who enjoys a calm and predictable routine.

She has been in the same home for the past 7 years after being adopted from a rescue as part of a pair. While her early history is limited, she has been well cared for and loved.

Ren would do best in a quieter home where she can be the only pet and feel secure in her environment. She is not a high-energy cat, but rather one who thrives with patience, consistency, and a peaceful space to relax and bond with her person.

This is not a decision that has been made lightly — the goal is to find the right home where she can truly feel safe and thrive.

Special Needs / Preferences

Ren has ongoing litter box/urination issues that have been fully evaluated by a veterinarian (urinalysis and ultrasound were normal), so no medical cause was found. These behaviors are believed to be stress-related.

She does best in a calm, low-stress environment and will need a patient adopter who understands that adjustment may take time and that consistency is important. A quieter home as the only pet will give her the best chance to succeed.
