Welcome to “Get to Know Your Future Best Friend!” Today’s fabulous guest is Tommy! He’s a seasoned senior with plenty of charm and snuggle skills that can’t be beat. Let’s give him a warm round of applause!
Host: Tommy, welcome to the show. First, tell us… What kind of guy are you?
Tommy: I don’t like to put myself in a box. Metaphorically speaking. If it’s a physical box, I might enjoy it. Basically, I’m a snuggle expert, but I also love to play. Catnip-filled kicker toys, whirling balls on cardboard scratchers… I approve of all of it. But I won’t turn down cuddles either. It’s all about balance.
Host: How could you and a potential adopter spend the day together?
Tommy: Oh, the possibilities! I could supervise your morning coffee, critique your TV mystery-solving skills before the show reaches the conclusion, and make sure you’re reading your book correctly while we sit in bed.
Host: What’s your favorite color?
Tommy: Hmm… probably the color of tuna. I’m also partial to the golden glow of a sunbeam hitting the floor at exactly the right angle. And of course, the comforting neutral tones of a soft blanket, which really complement my lounging aesthetic.
Host: Why should someone adopt a senior cat like you?
Tommy: Senior cats are full of charm, wisdom and affection. We may not be kittens anymore, but we know how to love, we know how to relax, and we know how to make every quiet moment count. Plus, we’re experts at warming laps… and hearts. (Tommy slowly lifts his paws and presses them together in a little heart shape, holding them there for just a moment as he looks out at the audience.)
