Hi, I’m Slate! My sister Carbon and I are at Simply Cats because of a move. We’re 2-years-old, and we both have the most gorgeous light green eyes.
Carbon and I are shy at first. New places and new faces can feel big, so we may hang back and watch while we figure you out. That’s okay! Give us time and a quiet voice, and we’ll become more comfortable. Once we feel safe, our curious sides come out. We love playing together, especially with springs and wand toys. The volunteers here say I’m very affectionate. Lickable treats are my favorite, and Carbon would tell you the same.
We’re both sweet girls looking for someone kind and patient. We don’t need to be rushed. We need someone who understands that trust takes a little while, and who will let us come out of our shells at our own pace. If you can do that, we’ll show you just how much love we have to give. We’re a bonded pair, so we need to find a home together.
