Being in a new place can feel pretty overwhelming, but my friends and I are doing our best to be brave. We were trapped by a kind person who knew we deserved a better life than one spent trying to survive outside. Right now, I’m still figuring things out and learning that I’m safe. I can be cautious at first, but once I feel comfortable, I’m a calm and very sweet girl. I just need someone who will work with me gently and give me grace while I learn to trust.
