About Me

Ahsoka is a sweet loving kitty. She enjoys lounging and cuddles but also has energy to play and enjoys being engaged. She will follow you around the house once she’s attached to you and seeks cuddles at night. Ahsoka likes to engage with other male cats and to be engaged with by humans. She enjoys attention and pets or just being in your presence and sleeping in the same room as you. Ahsoka enjoys feather toys and anything little she can bat around. She will bat toys around if you wiggle them for her. I believe Ahsoka would be better suited in a house where she is the only kitty or the only girl kitty. She does not get along with the other female in the home but is loving and fine with the males and dog.
She has always been and indoor kitty so not a home that will have her indoor/outdoor as she does not know how to navigate the outdoors safely.
She does good with children but i do think a quieter home would suit her better.
A home with someone who can give her alot of the time, attention, and love she deserves. Ahsoka has what we believe are anxiety issues. This stems from her being sick as a kitten and going through stressful and painful treatments. She will pee on something if she is stressed. Due to this we believe she would prefer to be in a home where she is the primary pet and there are no other female cats. This is Ahsokas only behavioral issue. We have tried everything to reduce her anxiety but there are three other cats and a dog in our home and we believe she would behave better if the attention was primarily on her and she had no other females to compete with. Ahsoka is fixed and has all her vaccines. When ahsoka was a baby and she had feline covid. This required daily shots and many vet visits to save her life. Due to this she has developed the peeing issue due to anxiety. It started when she was young and would get a painful shot, she would pee somewhere afterwards and this has turned into a persistent issue now. Ahsoka requires someone who would be very patient with her and understanding of her behavioral issue. Someone with time and energy to tend to her emotional and environmental needs to make sure she is not stressed and is comfortable. I believe that her issue amplified after another female was introduced and I believe that if she is in a situation where she is the focus she would act out less and possibly stop exhibiting the behavioral issue.

Special Needs / Preferences

Ahsoka would be better suited in a quieter house where she is the lone pet or with only male kitties. She doesnt like female cats. She needs someone patient and caring to help her with her behavioral issue of peeing when anxious. I believe in a quieter house without another female she would do better with her behavioral issue. She has done this since being sick as a kitten and having to get painful shots, after a shot she would pee out of distress. Now she does it periodically when anxious. We believe she needs a home that is more focused on her and less pets so she doesnt have to fight for attention. We are looking for someone who is willing to take this on. She is a wonderful , loving, loyal kitty who just needs more time and attention devoted to her emotional needs.
