My name is Honey Bug, and I’m a 7-year-old torbie girl with golden fur, beautiful green eyes, and a soft little heart that just needs some time to feel safe. I came to Simply Cats with my friend Chester after our owner experienced health issues.
I’m very shy at first, so you probably won’t see my full personality right away. I like to stay tucked in my hiding spot while I figure things out. But if you’re patient with me, you’ll start to notice the little signs that I’m warming up. I’ll roll around, make biscuits, and flirt from the safety of my cozy spot to let you know I’m starting to trust you.
I’m not the kind of cat who bursts into a room demanding attention. I’m more of a quiet connection that grows slowly and steadily over time. I just need a calm home, gentle people, and someone who understands that sweet cats sometimes need a little extra patience in the beginning. Once my walls come down, you’ll see that my heart is just as golden as my fur.
