About Me
Sky is a healthy, playful, and loving lady looking for a new home due to allergies discovered in her current one. Sky is very considerate, only ever scratching her scratching post and cardboard scratchers, even when no humans are home, and she uses her litter box dutifully. She enjoys spending time in trusted company, and we think she’d do well with another gentle/playful cat, as she grew up with another cat but has been an only cat for a bit over a year. For most of her life she has been indoor only.
Likes:
- Surveying for birds and passers by from the tippy top of her scratching post.
- Cuddling with her cat nip toys.
- Chasing her string and laser with her people.
- Laying on a blanket over a lap and getting chin scratches.
- Sleeping with her humans, particularly in knee nooks.
Dislikes:
- Being picked up or held—she’s respectful in this circumstance, but will meow her displeasure and jump back down.
- She can be shy and anxious around new people and places, but has warmed to us and friends over time.
- She’s not a fan of loud noises or people invading her space, so we doubt she has experience with young children.
She is microchipped and is up to date on all her shots. We’ll be charging a small fee to ensure her new owners are committed to her, and she’ll come to the right home with the following:
