About Me
Prince is a loving and much-loved cat that has been in our family for 4 years but, unfortunately, my daughter has developed an allergy that has become too detrimental to her health and we can no longer keep him. We are very sad about it and want him to go to a good home. We originally had him indoors only but when we had a dog in the house for a time he managed to dart outside when we let the dog out and he has been indoor/outdoor ever since (about 2 years). He doesn’t wander far - I know this because I had a tracker on him for months and he always stayed close by. He was not happy with the dog at first, but as you can see from one of the pics, he got along with her just fine after a while. I don’t think he would get along very well with another cat in the house given some reactions he had to a cat in the yard. But, he might be ok if given a gradual introduction. I think the cat in the yard just seemed like a threat to him. As for children, he has just been around kids older than 8 years. I’m not sure if he would do well around very young children. I don’t think he would be aggressive, he would probably just hide if they were loud.
Prince is neutered, up to date on his shots and is in very good health. He plays with cat toys and likes to cuddle on our laps when we’re seated quietly on the couch for a while or snuggle by my side at bedtime. Thanks for considering welcoming this handsome boy into your home!
