About Me
A home perfect home for Matcha.
Matcha isn’t tame, but tries to be. Being touch is scary for her, but she wants to be touched. Some day.
She was trapped when she was 4 months old and brought to IHS along with 3 other kittens who were 3 months old. They all had ringworm. Usually they would have been spay\neutered and returned to a colony but the location wasn’t safe.
That was in October. Since then, the 3 month old kittens were cleared of ringworm, tamed and found adopters. Matcha got along with the 3 kittens but just didn’t understand the relationship they had with humans. And they were all so rambunctious, so she stayed out of the way.
Now after 4 months together it’s just Matcha and me. I’m not as fun as the other kittens but at least, I’m quiet. She has come a long way but not a lap cat. She is getting used to being petted as she sits on my lap just long enough to have breakfast. She likes to sit fairly close to me for eating, observation, and knapping.
I always thought the best adopters were people who were looking for a cat to save. Matcha’s new family will need to be those people.
Spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. Location: Foster home.
