Mirabelle, tell us… how would you describe yourself?
I’m a one-year-old dilute tortoiseshell with jewel-toned eyes and a perfectly painted dark nose. Underneath my slightly intense stare is a tender little heart just waiting to connect. While I might be a bit timid at first, give me a moment, and I’ll show you my sweet, affectionate side.
What’s your favorite hobby?
I’ve gotten really into interior decorating. My specialty is carrying plush toys around the room and stashing them in just the right cubbies or boxes. I’m very intentional. Sometimes they get moved again later… It’s all part of the vision!
Do you have any favorite things?
Yes, thank you for asking! I love squeeze-up treats, floppy plush toys, soft balls and wand toys. I also love a good cardboard floor scratcher. There’s something so satisfying about it.
What kind of home are you looking for?
I do get startled by sudden movements, so a gentle environment will help me feel safe. And when I feel safe, that’s when my real self begins to shine.
And your backstory?
I came in as a stray mama from Caldwell, caring for my kittens with dedication. Now that my babies are grown, it’s my turn to be pampered.
If you were a Disney princess, who would you be?
I’d probably be Cinderella… the one before the dress and the ball. Just a nice girl dreaming of kindness, hoping that someday, someone will see my sparkle.
Any final thoughts?
I can be quite the conversationalist. I’d love a human who talks to me about the weather, their lunch or the bird they saw out the window. I’ll listen, meow back, and feel just a little bit braver every time.
