Can you help provide a home for a barn cat?

Suda
We sometimes have cats surrendered to us that are not appropriate for placement into indoor homes.  Often these cats are semi-feral and used to living outdoors with little interaction with people.  Once spayed or neutered, it is difficult for us to find adoption homes for them.  Because we are a shelter that does not euthanize for space, we are always looking for acreage homes where these cats may live out their lives as barn cats.  This helps us to open up space for more adoptable cats here at our shelter.

If you are in a position to provide an outdoor home for a spayed or neutered barn cat, please contact us at .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) .

DID YOU KNOW?

Simply Cats holds a cat food bank once a month to distribute food to those in the community that are in need of assistance in order to feed their animals and keep them at home, instead of bringing them to shelters or abandoning them?
For additional information on the schedule, rules and qualifications to use the cat food bank, please visit our food bank page or contact us at 343-7177.
