Interested in Fostering?

Thank you for your interest in joining our team of foster caregivers. We want this experience to be a positive and rewarding one for you. You will be giving your foster cat(s) a chance to adapt to a normal, warm and loving foster home environment while waiting for a permanent one.

Please know that if not for caring people like you, many cats and kittens would be euthanized or die as strays where they are susceptible to many unhealthy and unsafe conditions.  When you take in a foster cat you are not only helping them to become more socialized but you are also opening up additional space at the shelter, allowing us to save more cats. 

Some of the goals of a foster parent are:
Providing a safe, nurturing environment for mother cats to raise their kittens
Socializing shy or timid cats/kittens
Allowing sick or injured cats/kittens to heal in a relaxing environment
Giving long-term feline residents time away from the shelter in a home setting
Correcting behavioral issues
