You can view our adoptable cats by clicking on one of the rooms in the Adoptable Cats menu. If you see one that you think might be just the one for you, stop by, visit and get to know him or her. Our staff is here to help you find just the perfect match.
We reserve the right to refuse any adoption if, in our opinion, the best interest of the animal would not be served.
Why Adopt from Simply Cats?
By adopting a feline from Simply Cats, it allows us to accept another cat and save its life.
In addition, you are adopting a cat/kitten that has been spayed or neutered; treated for internal and external parasites; microchipped; and is or will be fully vaccinated as part of the adoption fee. Each cat/kitten is also tested for FIV/FeLV. Also included in the adoption fee is 30 days of pet insurance, and an educational DVD on how to welcome your new cat home.
We try to make the adoption process as easy as possible, however it is our goal to find these animals forever homes ~ so, you are asked to complete a brief adopter questionnaire prior to adoption. In addition, we now utilize the ASPCA’s Meet Your Match Feline-ality program to assist adopters in finding the right cat for their lifestyle. This program also includes a brief survey for the adopter. Both of these forms can be completed and brought in with you. Download the adopter questionnaire here:

All you need to do is stop by the Adoption Center, and one of our staff will assist you with the process.
Because Simply Cats’ commitment to all cats entrusted to us is to make sure they remain out of harm’s way, we recommend that you keep your new feline indoors.
Also, Simply Cats is committed to reducing cat overpopulation through spaying and neutering. Therefore, no cats will be adopted from the shelter until they have been spayed or neutered.
Our adoption fees are as follows:
Kittens up to the age of 6 months, $75
Adults age 6 months to age 7, $65
Seniors over the age of 7, $25
Pure Bred Cats* (any age), $150 or more
*Though purebred cats make up a small percentage of cats relinquished to us, they tend to have the most specific needs. Because of this, it can take us more time to find the perfect match with an adopter, hence our adoption fee for pure bred cats is higher than our usual fees. In addition, pure bred cats are exempt from any special or promotional adoption fees offered by our facility.
While we strive to make matches that last the cat’s lifetime, we recognize that there may come a time when someone feels they must return an adopted cat. If this situation arises, you must call and speak to our Adoption Program Manager. All returns must be approved and scheduled. All surrendered cats will be subject to approval of medical records and space availability.
Should you return a cat after adoption, the adoption fee will not be refunded. EFFECTIVE APRIL 15, 2011, if you have had the cat for over 30 days, you will be asked to pay a surrender fee upon return of the cat.
